Getting Started

Go to the Create Page, select a template as a starting point, then click Select.

Enter a site name, a password to login to your site editor, and your email address. Click send form and your web site files will be created.
You will receive a confirmation email with your free site URL (www.madeinteractive.com/sitename) and login info.

When you first create your site you will be automatically logged into the web site editor.

When you return to your site you can click 'Admin' in the bottom right of your site to login to the web site editor.

Enter your login password to login and edit your site.

The top toolbar contains the buttons to open the Pages Panel, Edit Panel, Blocks Panel, Files Panel, Setting Panel.

  Pages panel

In the pages panel you can add new pages, reorder pages with the up and down arrows, and add dropdown menus with sub pages.

  Edit Panel

In the edit panel you can modify the settings for your sites content blocks, click on a block then click edit to show the blocks options.

  Blocks Panel

In the blocks panel you can select blocks to add to the current page, you can filter by block type, then click add to add blocks.

  Files Panel

In the files panel you can upload images to use in your site.

  Settings Panel

In the settings panel you can change site wide options, like Navigation style, Colors, Fonts, Animations.

  Move Block Up

Select a block, and click up to move the currently selected block up the page item stack.

  Move Block Down

Select a block, and click down to move the currently selected block down the page item stack.

  Copy Block

Select a block, and click copy, then click paste to paste the block.

  Paste Block

Click paste to paste a block that has been copied.

  Delete Block

Select a block, then click delete to delete the block.

Pages Panel

Click 'Pages' to open the pages panel.
Manage your web site pages. Add, Remove and Reorder Pages, add drop down menus with sub pages.

Pages

Click 'New' to add a new page, click 'Delete' to delete the currently selected page, use the up and down buttons to reorder pages.

Sub Pages

Click 'Dropdown' to add a new dropdown menu, when you add a new dropdown a blank subpage is added, click 'New Page' to add new sub pages to your dropdown menu.

Site Pages List

Your web sites navigation structure is displayed in the next section, you can select a page to rename or reorder pages.

Page Name/URL

Enter the name and url for the currently selected page. The url is the address displayed in the browser address bar, the url should not contain any spaces or special characters.

Meta Data

Enter the title, description and keywords for each page of your site, suppliying meta data for each page can improve search results.

Edit Blocks

Click 'Edit' to open the edit panel for the currently selected block.
The options for the selected block are displayed in the edit panel. Here you can edit the blocks content and settings.

The options displayed will vary depending on the type of block selected.
General Settings that apply to most block types:

Container

Select 'Default' for a centered responsive width container. Select 'Full' for a fluid edge to edge container.

Height

Small - set minimum block height.
Medium - set medium block height.
Full - set to the full height of the browser window.

Color

Select Light, Mid, Dark colors for the selected block. The colors can be modified site wide in the Settings panel.

Heading Text

Click the switch button to show or hide the heading text. Enter the text for the heading, you can use plain text and basic html markup in the edit panel input fields.

Divider

Click the switch button to show or hide the divider.

Lead Text / Text

Click the switch button to show or hide the text. You can enter plain text and basic html markup in the edit panel input fields.

Button

Click the switch to show or hide the button, enter the button text label, enter the url of the page to link to, set the target to default (same window) or new window to open link in a new tab.

Click the switch to show or hide the image.
Enter the image file name, or click select image to go to the file browser where you can select an image for the item.

Background Image

Click the switch to show or hide the BG image.
Enter the image file name, or click select image to go to the file browser where you can select an image for the item.

Select BG Tint to add a tinted overlay over the background image.
Select BG Fixed to fix the background image position when scrolling.

Animation

Select animation to display the transitions for the item, you can modify the transition animations in the site settings.

Add Blocks

Click 'Blocks' to open the blocks panel.
To add a new block to the current page click 'Add' under the block you wish to add, the new block will be added to the current page.
You can filter the block list by selecting a block type.

Site Files

Click 'Files' to open the files panel.

Upload

Select 'Upload Files', in the upload dialog click 'Choose Files', you can select multiple files to upload, the uploader works in modern browsers, Safari, Firefox, Chrome.

Delete

Select a file, click delete and confirm to delete image.

Check & Delete

Click 'Check & Delete, select multiple files, click delete selected.

Site Settings

Click 'Settings' to open the settings panel.

Nav Style

Click 'Nav Style' to select a different site navigation style, there are options for default, fixed top, sidebar and fullscreen site menus.

Navbar Brand

Enter the text for the site navbar title, or select a logo image.

Fonts

Change the site fonts.

Colors

Set the foreground/background colors for light / mid / dark sections.
Set the site default font, background and link colors.

Animations

Play animations once, or repeat as you scroll up and down the page.
Text - Select transition for text items.
Image - Select transition for images.
Reveal - Select a reveal transition (overlays images).

Site loader

Switch page loading screen on/off.
Select a light or dark loading screen.
